I don't agree.

Some buy chess programs because of a particular style.  e.g. Junior 7 may not be
the best program, but I like watching it play, and up to now remains my
favourite program.  Same can be said about the Gambit Tigers.  Cm9000 is another
one that has a distinct style, that is enjoyable to watch.  The top programs are
close enough in strength, that I dont care which plays the best, rather one that
is different from the rest.
