Ed, Based on your webpage I get the impression that you are using these tables to score moves and influence move order. Is this in place of an SEE? I've thought a lot about this stuff but I fear the impact of losing things like xray attacks and pinned piece detection. Using only attack tables it seems would decrease the accuracy of the move scoring and lead to a larger search tree. Have I overestimated the impact? Scott
