Subject: A GLORIOUS Day For Humanity!

Author: Graham Laight

I played Jester, the Java chess program (available for immediate playing with no
setting up at http://www.ludochess.com/ )on a 200 Mhz PC at home and won!

I set Jester's time to 1 second per move. He was clumsy to let his rook get
trapped - but at one point, I thought I had lost my advantage and that all my
ways to make progress had been immobilised - but after a good long think, I
managed to progress and get the win.

I had thought that I'd probably never be able to beat a strong computer opponent
again, so this result has certainly lifted my spirits!
