I would agree with a system like this.

And, just so this CCC member is on record:
I find the Shaun Graham post of Sept 25 17:57 to be
  1) Offensive.
  2) Worse yet, *threatening*.
  3) Contrary to the 5 rules of membership which we all - including
     Shaun Graham - have agreed to comply with in order to be CCC members.

I will accept the moderators' decision in this matter; I just feel their
decision is easier when they have more members' input.
