[D] 2r3k1/7p/q3pBp1/1p1pPnP1/p1nP4/P1N4R/1PQ5/7K w - - 0 1 A nice game between Pharaon 2.62 - TheKing3.23 (p4 2.47ghz, game in 25). Here Pharaon played Rxh7 which seems to draw. The game continued: 1. Rxh7 Kxh7 2.Qh2+ Kg8 3.Qh8+ Kf7 4.Qh7+ Ke8 5.Qxg6+ Kf8 6.Qh7 Nxe5 7.Bxe5 b4 [D] 2r2k2/7Q/q3p3/3pBnP1/pp1P4/P1N5/1P6/7K w - - 0 8 I think this was the critical position. White still seems to have a draw, but Pharaon blundered by playing Qh8+ (time trouble) and the king was able to escape and win. Most of the programs I've tested likes 8. g6(TheKing3.23 expected g6 giving a draw score), and black is the one that gives perpetual with ..Qf1+ Kh2, Qf2+ etc.. So what does your program say about these two positions?
