Hi Fernando: I'm enjoy contributing whatever I can come up with, energy
permitting. As you are probably aware, I am particularly interested in the
'Human' perspective in the interaction of these chess programs. And in some
ways its more interesting for me to see a spectrom (in playing strength, age of
player and personality), of players games, then it is to just read about on the
Internet a match between the 'hottest' program(s) available (which it seems we
always have to wait for, and spend more money on), and the 2nd player in the
world. And of course its got to be more fun when you yourself are somehow
involved in setting this stuff up! In connection with this, see below...

I'm pleased to see WCCR become free - I can already include it as a reference on
my resume, and in my cover letters when seeking new employment.

I likely will be moving back to NY in February (& no later than June of '99), to
resume my scholastic chess teaching career there. And I see much possibility of
testing a number of mircro-programs against various young talents, park players,
Chess book sellers, local club talents, and perhaps even some Hungarian/American
Women chess champions! Of course I will record all of these games and then
report back here:) As Spock would say, It should be fascinating...
