no, they dont prevent the engine from playing that move. In Shredder classic
there are move values from a to g. the value indicates how often a move will be
played by the program. In Chessbase GUI it has some influence regarding how
often a move is played. However if all moves are marked with ? like here it has
no meaning at all.
