I don't know about the first problem, but the second one is caused by a conflict with other software on your computer. And, yes, it does also exist in CM9000. It is supposed to be fixed in the next patch, but I don't know when (if ever) that patch is going to be released. However, you can try to get rid of the problem by uninstalling or turning off any software that you don't need. For example, one user found that the Gravis Gamepad app caused the problem. So, it may take a bit of poking around. jm
