In that directory is a program named IUpgrade.exe Double click on that and it will install the .iup file (the upgrade) for you automatically. When done, the "Help -> About Fritz8" menu item will show a date of Dec 23, 2002 instead of Nov 27, 2002. Chessbase does not really help its customers much with these types of things - a pretty consistent failing on their part. Good luck! Roy
