I can play a rated game against any personality I wish. I can play a tournament against a bunch of different personalities - no problems so far. It is when I want to play a *rated tournament* against various personalities that the problem appears. The names of the various personalities I have selected for the tournament are correct, but the moves played on the board by that personality are actually moves generated by the viciously strong Chessmaster personality. I cannot imagine why I was unable to even draw a single game in a rated tournament. :-) For now I am left to play a single rated game at a time. That at least let's me get a "rating" as calculated by the program. I really hope this is fixed soon. It is the last big bug I have found in CM9000 (at least based on the features I use). Fix that one and I can delete all other programs on my laptop (to save hard drive space). My desktop has lots of disk space so naturally all programs "live" there. Roy
