Some dialog and answers on the topic would be great. > > >Regards JAMerolle I don't know for sure if it was a match or only a single game but from the book "The Complete Games of World Champion Anatoly Karpov" by O'Connell ,Levy and Adams we could read the following :"During the spring of 1972 Karpov and Spassky played one training game as part of the latter's preparation for the WC match in Reykjavik .Unfortunately ,it was agreed between the players that this game should never been published .The opening of the game was a Spanish ,Closed Variation.Spassky won the game from a totally lost position."
