Are there known problems with these engines and their ability to manage memory? Shredder 7 won't load and says it doesn't have enough memory. Fritz 8 tries to load the maximum possible hash table size which results in very slow performance when searching positions. I've set the hash table to 256 mb but Fritz won't leave the setting there. I just installed an Asus A7N8X motherboard, 1 gb PC2700 DDR Ram with an Athlon XP2400+ processor. All of my other programs work nicely.
