I think that it is obvious that even based on Bob Hyatt's report Cray blitz
could beat Crafty only 7-3 more than one year ago.

The hardware of today is faster so I think that it seems obvious that top
programs of today on the best hardware are better than Cray blitz even if we
assume that Crafty of the CCT5 is 100 elo weaker than Cray blitz because the top
programs are more than 100 elo better than crafty based on the ssdf list.

It is even more clear that the top programs of today are better than Belle that
was not more than master level based on my knowledge.

I do not discuss about the deep blue case because discussion here is not
productive when there is no way to convince people who believe that deeper blue
is better.
