May I suggest you continue on until one program has won 10 games. At that point it would be almost undisputable who the true winner is and argueably the strongest player. In regard to ply's when a program is searching a move ever deeper is this not referred to as a ply say 6 plys or 8 plys per move of depth searching, not just the number of moves in a game. Ted
