For example, No program can access 8 gigs of ram on a PC. The PC can have 64 gigs, but a single process can't access it.. So that is a non- point. The 8-way 1.6 box is not impressive. Memory is a bottleneck. I would use the quad if I were in their shoes... It is probably a bit faster overall.
