And not like there is something not so great in Junior.
If the same program that is playing Kasparov is also matched against Fritz 8
(but on equal hardware) and others close by, and Junior clearly dominates, then
we can really be convinced that man, such as Kasparov, is clearly superior
still.
In fact, Kasparov must do this now, or else things will be a bit stagnant.
BUT, Junior must also be proven by other means to be stronger, or as strong as
the best, against computer and human.
That would be a better show than Deeper Blue.

(Also, Kasparov will be fulfiling his promise of showing human mental
superiority over machine ("until the end of the millenium"), which he always
spoke so strongly about. Then he can happily retire).
