That is hard to answer here since I can't run 'em. But my original point was
that Crafty
played about as well as it could have played, in a bad position. I still have
no doubt that
that is true. IE it played a pretty good endgame against the GM on FICS Saturday
afternoon...
If you recall, I've not ever said "this game was not winnable by black." I said
"it is not
an obvious win and will require some study (by me) to see if it can be won by
black or
not." There are plenty of places black can make mistakes...
However, we can always try the same test again but using a computer, to see if
they
understand. I should add that in the two tests last night, Crafty predicted
_every_ move you
made but one, and the "one" was a transposition in one position where more than
one move
led to the same position. It can play that pretty well, and I would think,
after studying it while
the game was going on last night, that it could win with black without any real
trouble.
