1)I can add that I did not include Junior7 because it is a relatively old
version but it may be interesting if Slater can test his copy of Junior against
the programs that I mentioned when Junior get the white pieces.

The question is if Junior can beat all of them with white.

Junior got inferior position from the opening but it does not mean that it got a
lost position.

2)It is interesting to read the claim that the book is a disadvantage.

A book is something that cannot be counter productive if it is used in the right
way.

My opinion about book is the following

A book should include 2 parts:

part 1:Moves that are played in 0 seconds(This part should include maybe 50,000
positions when everyone of them was checked manually and also analyzed by the
program that is playing before the match so there cannot be positions that the
program does not like).

part 2:Interesting moves that are part of the database that the program is using
but not part of the book.

Everyone of the interesting moves should be extended and the book should include
information how much to extend it.

When the program is out of book the first step that it should do is to copy
the relevant moves that should be extended from the Hard disk to the fast memory
and the second step is to search.
