Shaun, Your perception that you have been slighted seems to me to be way out of proportion of what actually happened here. Nobdy should ever request that someone not respond to a post, and if somebody does respond to a post in a very minor way against your wishes, it should not invoke such outrage on your part. If you feel that someone has made personal attacks against you then you should take that up with the moderators or the person, rather than "make a scene." I found that mild attempts at humor can be interpretted as a personal attack. Email and electronic bulletin boards are an imperfect form of communication, because we lose the ability to get the intonation and expression of the other person. As a result people make assumptions about the other person's intent that might not be valid. The responses that you have given to whatever mild slights might have existed have been much larger offenses. To call someone a liar for violating a previous agreement is very innacurate. There is a difference betwen lying and adhearing to a promise less than 100% of the time. As far as I can tell, nobody has been engaging in such name calling toward you, and even if they were, it was a mild jab of humor. My suggestion is to have a little thicker skin. People don't always say exactly the right things in the right way. People don't always do the right things. Sometimes email communication gets confused. If you have been offended then say so, but then drop it. Best wishes, john Coffey
