Not to mention the differences in the program itself, depending on the compiler and options used to compile it. That is why the SSDF is so careful in naming the exact hardware and software used in their calibrations. Without this data, the results are not fully meaningful. Also important are the other conditions of the match. Autoplayer, and time control, etc. all have a bearing on the outcome. So the screaming caveat is "YMMV!!!" [(Y)our (M)ileage (M)ay (V)ary.] If there *is* a harware related problem, you won't be able to fix it except by changing your hardware.
