Let me explain in a short message. Hope this helps: The Rolf Tueschen of rgcc in 1996 and following was in real a 22, then, after his birthday, a 23 years old kid. He was a bit hot-tempered, but already sufficiently experienced to prove many members of that newsgroup insufficiently educated. In big steps he then progressed from newbie to the Pope of rgcc. He was what Kasparov is for chess, the USA in world politics and Einstein in science. At least in the perception of the members. He himselfs always was a very timid and spontaneous gentleman. At the time of the creation of CCC Rolf took part in an scientifical experiment for the research of time travels, this is known under the term 'beaming'. So - in 2002, in the meantime over 50 years old, Rolf knocked on the doors of CCC and became a normal member here, now an average newbie again. To answer your question, it should be obvious that the two persons share the same name, but they are totally different persons. Due to the older age, Ed Schroder is on good terms with the second Rolf. But this is absolutely normal and has nothing to do with computerchess. Since the first Rolf did never appear with a webpage on his own, the second Rolf gave some historical record of this very special young talent.
