When you're the one in the hot seat, you see things differently. It's like your
mind is closed or something. Haven't you ever watched quiz shows (Jeopardy,
Millionaire, etc.) where people mess up on really easy questions?

I think generally, it's easier to see the right answer when you're not the one
playing.
