Go up one level in this thread
I have written a very simple game in a webpage. All you have to do is to guess whether the web page is hiding a coin in its left hand or its right one. What I have found is that it's quite easy to beat this game at the default level of 49 guesses - but at 101 guesses it's much harder - and I've yet to see it beaten at 201 guesses. You can beat it - you just have to maintain a high level of concentration as the game progresses - but this becomes more difficult as time goes on. One tends to become complacent and just start snapping out guesses - which is the quick way to lose points (once you're above 60 guesses and the computer has sussed out your patterns of selection). http://mysite.freeserve.com/grahamlaight/jscript/GuessWhichHand.htm note: at the moment, it works fine under IE, but might not run correctly under Netscape. I have found the cause of the problem, and will correct it over the weekend. -g
