15.17 is the only version I have seen badly misbehave.  15.19 may well
lose badly, but it isn't playing badly...

It plays fine without them, but may draw a won KRP vs KR or lose a
drawn KRP vs KR without them.  But if neither program uses them, I don't
see a problem...
