This is a very good idea - thankyou for the suggestion. A few thoughts: * it is already a learning game, in that the program is constantly looking for patterns in the way that you play. The longer you play, the more patterns it "learns" (or, more accurately, "finds"), and the more difficult it seems to become to play against. * In chess, there'd be clear benefit in having a learning machine play another computer. This game is designed to play against humans (unless someone wants to start a "guess where the penny is" computer championship), so there's absolutely no guarantee whatsoever that improving one's play against another program will improve one's play against a human at all. It could well make it worse, in fact.
