I remember when Rebel Century upgraded to a Pentium 600, it rarely lost to
grandmasters and beat most international master, then when the speed went up to
the pent 866 machines, tiger performed even Better in Argentina, followed by the
extrodinary performance of Rebel against Van Wely, would I be unscientific to
suggest that computers are playing 2600+ on 1000mhz and above? Actually what
surprises me is that the programs Seem to be performing on Single processors as
well as the programs running with 8 processors, The Hiarcs Bareev match, and
Rebel van wely comes to mind.
