forget about all commercials

http://scid.sourceforge.net/

download SCID 3.4 and install

download the tablebases from Hyatts Ftp site.

set the tablebase directory in SCID: Options -> tablebase directory

set up your board position: Edit -> setup startboard

click on: windows -> Endgame Tablebase window

you will get all information you need for endgame training

Btw, you can download Ruffian,Yace,Crafty winboard engines to run them in SCID

SCID is the best freeware chess database.
