I don't know of any chimp being able to play chess but I've heard of a dog
that does.Actually I was watching it play in a park for about an hour.I was
flabbergasted. It seem to know how all the pieces moved and even a couple of
openings. When I told the owner of the dog how smart it wss he simply relied,"Oh
I don't know if he is so smart;he hasn't managed to win one game yet".
