Hello Ted,
Greetings from Pensacola Fl. We're dodging a hurricane right now.
About the number of games required to make sense out of it all, I don't know
what the right number is. I only know a short set can be skewed dramatically.
I also know that the closer the matched programs the more it takes to sort them
out. As I said to mark in my follow-up, Computers just like people sometimes
make the right moves for the wrong reason and end up looking like a genius. In
a short series this can make one look superior to the other when this is not the
case. If there is say 150 or more points between the two computers this usually
can be seen very early. Anyway, I now know this is a subset of games with more
to come and I am very interested in the outcome since I have both programs but
can no longer compare them because of the big difference in speeds of my two
computers.
