Most desktops comsume about as much power as 3 or 4 light bulbs. They're also
shielded and field strength drops off very quickly over a very short distance. I
don't think the system DJ is using is consuming more than about 4 times as much
power. This just isn't enough to be significant. If it were, I would expect that
people working in electrical power stations to  be transformed into complete
morons. Obviously, this does not happen.
