Instead of all that pathing stuff, you may want to try something like this:
/firstChessProgramNames={Ruffian_101 /fd=.\Ruffian
I use this method because I was moving my Winboard directory to different drives
(house-cleaning). No need to edit any paths and it can even run from a CD.
'Winboard' is the main directory and all the engines have their own direstory
within the 'Winboard' directory. You can drag the entire Winboard dir anywhere,
give it to a friend, etc., and it will fire right up!
