Hi Scott, >does anyone know the winboard command, and its associated commands passed to >ICC, or whatever to troll for during the game. > >I cant seem to find anything. > >Robert: is it true that you maintain an internal list of IMs and GMs and just >use their name? > >Blitz seems to detect IM/GM/C and put it on the top of the board. do you mean: how can your engine detect that it is a titled player ? Well, if it is that, then it is not possible - WinBoard cuts the title information somwhere off the name... the only info you get is if the opponent is a comp or not. (WinBoard sends "computer" then to your engine - Quark reacts that it switches from whispering to kibitz, Crafty adjusts it's book usage as far as I know...) Greets, Thomas P.S.: If you just want to see which titled players are on: "who T" - if its about titled player observing a special game you can try "who g<game number> T". To see games with titled players involved type "games *T" - but I think you know that already...
