It is expensive, and if the print run were that of a "real" book, that price
would be enough to make you track down David Levy and/or the publisher and bury
them under a load of poo.

If you have to have everything, the book is worth it. If you have to have stuff
that you need, the book is not worth it.

If I recall correctly, the book has the original Shannon article, which isn't in
other books on computer chess. It is big and thick, but it includes a lot of
stuff that is available elsewhere.

There might be incorrect details in the above. I passed on this book when I saw
it available new, in a bookstore (!), for about half this price, about ten years
ago. I haven't seen it since then.
