Well, that was what I meant by "intel's libraries".
nm --demangle *.o | grep pthread gives no output.

I am reading about libcxa at the moment, and Intel apparently know about this an
suggest that I link only this library in statically. But I think it requires
pthread. So I will have to install a statically linkable pthread library. Maybe
that's the problem.
