Yes, I'm sure that was the problem.

Eugene provides both the .nbw and .nbb sides of symmetric endgames in Rob Hyat's
ftp facility.

So, I guess he can't assume that the chess-engine does the needful to only
require one half of the EGT.

... and apparently Fritz6 does not.

I suspect I have not seen this before because I believe Fritz6 was previously
only consulting the EGTs at the root position.  I think I did something to cause
it to look at EGTs when further down the search-tree.
