The new book option called "Up to move" (default set to 35 moves)that came with the 30 January Gui update seems to offer a way to limit/restrict the book openings by maximum number of moves. Seems like a handy way to reduce the number of draws caused by very long opening books? Set it at 10 and it's out of book at that point. So my question is, will forcing shorter openings by assigning a maximum number of book moves decrease the programs elo?
