No, it doesn't. It uses a pretty crude scheme to index the book files. On my
machine it is fast enough, but for other machines, it might be annoying or slow.
If I get enough requests, I will rewrite the book probing to be more effecient.

I probably will from time to time, but I don't feel I have the time to check
everywhere, so I suggest that people send me an email if they have a problem.
