Subject: Game 4 Comments by Garry & Amir etc

I waited with interest for these comments, but after I read them I am
disappointed. I see no ANALYSIS! What I see is music meant to accompany the
promotion event.

1) Shipov. He is the only one who puts his finger into the hell of wounds of
that game. He is the only one who tells the truth. But he does it so silently
that only real experts or chess experts get it. He simply states after a dozen
moves of impossibilities, that"now d5 and in the long run the two weaknesses h3
and f3 will show up", something like that. Of course, every young player in a
training lesson who would miss either b5 or d5 would get angry reactions. Funny
that the two other commentators didn't see a possibility for b5/d5 at all.

2) Amir. Of course he is in love with his baby. And I don't want to put the
blame on him. But his comment here in CCC is simply fairy tale. He gives b5 only
in a situation when DJ could sac a piece. I didn't look at this but if b5 is
good that would also prove that Kasparov, who normally is good for such
complications, helped the computer not to lose. Amir NEVER speaks of d5. Clear,
how could he know?

3) Garry himself. I never saw a worse commentary. He did such a deep work on
even historic games, and here in a case of his own game he is almost speakless.
Where is b5 or d5??? Ok, Kasparov gives two or three moves with better
prospects, but he does not say why he didn't play it. He even praises h3!!! In
that particular situation. Omigod.

Apparently the organizers have not invited experts who give independant
opinions! No Pachman. No Byrne. Where can I read exact analyses by GM Seirawan
or Ashley who are again authorized to give live comments on the stage? Where is
the objective verdict about the 4th game?

Unbelievable.
