All sorts of extra instruction set optimization is disabled in the builds, so
they _should_ work. I have a feeling that if I build a very plain one with no
fancy optimization options turned on, it works. If so, it still doesn't explain
what goes wrong with the current builds.

Sure. I don't know if it's only the old ones that it crashes on.

I will post a couple of alternative executables in a moment. I will be very
interested to know which if these works.
