OK - as the heated threads have stopped now I can answer this one that surprised
me.

This is very much against the WinBoard "spirit" IMHO. There have been
undocumented features in WinBoard for a long time that (at least some of them)
had similar effects - some people could do things, others couldn't.

All fine with me - but this is really ridiculous - a GPL software, people can
download for free - "special" people can get a "special" version - that's pretty
ridiculous if you ask me.

As the source code is availlable and we talk about uncommenting a few lines of
disabled code and re-compiling - do you really think this will stop _anyone_ ,
and even more - do you think it will stop the people you _want_ to stop?

Sceptical.
Peter
