Hi Bob: So you are saying that the Amir device "to save time" is a complete mistake, an awful bug for a top program like Junior 5? I am strong player enough to reach endings even with the strongest programs -although I lose them 90% of time- and then a thing like that is important to me in my purchase decisions, as much as it is in endings that underpromition gets his value. I wonder if Amir thought in that when he took his decision. There is a sychological aspect to be considered: even if without underpromotion being considered Junior is enough good to win the ending, it is not happy for the human side to know he is playing againts a crippled adversary and when you know what it is.
