I believe that it's a GPL violation to add code to a GPL'ed program and
distribute it to some people without making it freely redistributable (including
source code) to everyone.  You can add code and keep it to yourself if you want,
but once you distribute your changes to other people, you must GPL them.

In other words, you can't do this.
