If you believe it or not. I have looked at this line before and consider it to
be better for white. white should be safe and could play for a win. ideas like
f5 come to mind and the bishop pair is strong.
I dont think I overestimate the ease of whites play and I would surely make
mistakes if I had to play this position over the board but we are talking about
Kasparov here.

btw, there is another interesting line after 17...h5 white should play 18.e4 and
in my short analysis whites King always managed to escape with advantage.
