When posting a message with a personal name in the subject, likely one of two things is taking place. 1. You have a question for a specific person. 2. You have an argument with a specific person. In either of these cases, a specific email addressed to that person would be better. I will freely admit that there *are* times when a post with someone's name is topical. But more often than not, it would be better handled via private email. Of course, something like this cannot really be made a hard and fast rule. But it seems that it may have some value as a suggestion.
