Subject: 34 Round - Double Robin - Round 22 In-process

Author: Mike Byrne

Date: 18:24:55 02/06/03

Ruffian with major win over Fritz in round 22, has tightened the gap among the
top 3. Ruffian is a non-chessbase engine running under a wb2uci adapter. In 22
games , Ruffian is the drawmaster win 9 wins, 12 draws and just 1 lost. I love
the way Ruffian plays.

Judging by the evals, you can see Fritz never saw the impact of 52.Rd1!!
comming. Fritz thought the game was relatively even with a slight favor for
black. As the next coulpe moves show, that was far from the actual
circumstances.
