I don't think they were specifically against me as much as IBM.  Amir and IBM
had a confrontation about the "Deep Blue Junior" name...  that led to a bit of
animosity.  Also I am sure we were _all_ wishing it were US in NYC in 1997
rather than a special-purpose computer...  :)
