Of course, >when the human does make a mistake, good game :) Thankyou for understanding at least a little of what I was trying to say. Here's another thought. Shay and Amir should have trained their minds to withstand the pressure to take a draw. If they get another chance to play Kasparov in their lifetimes, then maybe they can redeem themselves for this their day of shame. Otherwise, they're doomed from today onwards. I hope that, having failed the test of courage tonight, that from now on, whenever they're asked (or, indeed, if they ask themselves in an honest moment) "Why did you take that draw instead of fighting on for the win?", that they find sufficient courage on THAT occasion to give the HONEST answer: "we didn't train our minds to prepare for the situation, and we ran out of courage. Cowardice overwhelmed us". I suspect that this won't happen. You'll see - when it comes to discussing today's game here in CCC, you'll see nothing but rationalisation about why offering a draw was "a sensible thing to do". Oh how I wish - and I know that many others feel the same way as well - that today they had taken the COURAGEOUS path rather than the cowardly one rationalised as "sensible". -g
