you must go into your bios and see what the values are for the multiplier and fsb. your multiplier should be set at 12, and your fsb should be set at 133. this will give you 1600 (1596) mhz. make these changes. be sure to save before exiting. good luck. and by the way, you should save the f word for very special occasions. your problem is minor compared to smokin that 2000 amd, in this case you would have exhausted your options for a more dramatic choice of words. look at Kasparov, he could not win the match against Deep Junior, did he use the f word? No! I am sure he used the f word when he went through his divorce and paid his ex 2.4 million dollars, plus the speed boat, the Rolls, and half of his chess program collection. kburcham
