For those of us that have trouble with the meaning of alpha and beta and null move and +- signs all mixed together at the best of times. Are you making it harder or easier for the null move to fail hi/low on your second attempt. I couldn't really work out the logic behind it. Thanks for your patience (with us mere mortals). Scott
