I am not sure you understand what I am suggesting. If we are currently generating 6 piece egtb's and by just a simple substitution method generate 5 or 20 new positions fot the 7 piece egtb then when we are ready to work on the 7 piece egtb sets we will have already generated a bunch of them. For example if we have 1,000,000 positions in the 6 piece egtb sets then we will have generated about 5,000,000 (substitution method) or 20,000,000 (substitution + symmetry) for the 7 piece egtb so that when it comes time to work on the 7 piece egtb we will have already done some of the work. I think I remember someone posting here that each complete set of egtb is 60 x larger then the previous set.
